PIHMS Stairs

Project Goal: To replace the existing non-compliant first floor balustrade and worn out wooden staircases.
Prework and Planning: Fabrication and installation had to be carried out while the facility remained operational. The design was structured so that the existing balustrade and stairs remained in place while new ones were installed. Another challenge was getting everything to join together without having to site weld which we pulled off.
Result: This project was completed on time and budget to the customer’s requirements. There was minimal disruption to PIHMS’s day to day operations, and a code compliant balustrade and new stairs were installed.
