Project Goal: To earthquake strengthen the existing building to 80% NBS.
Pre-work and Planning: Access and installation were key challenges for this project. One of the walls extended above the roofline which involved installation of beams that protruded through the roof. To install the large columns, the roof was removed and the columns were craned in from above.
Result: This project was completed on time and on budget and to the customer’s requirements.
