Project Goal: Installation of a structural steel beam to create a first floor walkway and supply and installation of bare steel floating staircase
Pre-planning: all steel was to be visual and uncoated so the challenge was minimising fabrication marks and processes to enable a high quality finished product
Result: successful install - on time and on budget. A visually striking weld free bare steel staircase.
Bullitt Fabrications co-designed, built, and installed a bespoke staircase and gantry walkway beam for our family home. This was a challenging retrofit project requiring exacting dimensional and finish tolerances as the exposed structural elements are also architectural elements. We are wrapped with the functional and aesthetic transformation to our home.
Clint is passionate about working with steel and delivering an uncompromised quality result. Bullitt went above and beyond on our project to ensure this was achieved. From the outset, the team showed an exceptional level of expertise, craftsmanship and attention to detail. They were always professional, listened carefully to understand the project in depth, problem solved and provided valuable inputs that have improved the end result and brought our vision to life.
